Safety-Sensitive Position Notice

All field, technician, mechanic, operations support, warehouse, logistics, and driver positions with Crewzers are classified as Safety-Sensitive Positions.

Employees in these roles may be responsible for loading of and operating commercial vehicles, towing trailers, operating heavy equipment, working around generators, electrical systems, HVAC systems, fuel systems, power distribution equipment, elevated temperatures, remote environments, and other operational hazards.

As a condition of employment, applicants for safety-sensitive positions may be required to successfully complete:

Driver Authorization Notice

Operation of company vehicles is subject to company insurance eligibility requirements, motor vehicle record review, licensing requirements, driver qualification standards, and operational approval.

Possession of a valid driver’s license does not automatically authorize an employee to operate company vehicles or commercial equipment on behalf of Crewzers.

Certain positions may involve field support responsibilities without authorization to operate company vehicles due to insurance, operational, licensing, training, or qualification requirements.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
  • Must possess a High School Diploma, GED, Trade School Certification, or demonstrate equivalent related work experience.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be capable of working evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and modified schedules as operational needs require.
  • Must be willing and available to travel and work on deployment assignments of varying durations.
  • Must be capable of working safely in physically demanding environments and varying weather conditions.
  • Must be capable of lifting, carrying, and working around equipment and materials commonly associated with field operations.
  • Must successfully complete required pre-employment screening and drug testing requirements.
  • Trailer towing, construction, equipment rental, mechanical, generator, HVAC, logistics, or related field experience is preferred but not required.

What training is involved?

New employees will complete Company Policy & Safety Orientation Training, operational procedures training, and equipment familiarization.

Depending on position assignment, employees may also receive training related to:

What is the typical work schedule and deployment commitment?

Most field assignments are seasonal, project-based, or incident-driven and occur on an as-needed basis.

Assignment lengths may vary depending on operational demands, incident duration, weather conditions, and customer needs. Employees should be prepared for extended workdays, modified schedules, weekend assignments, and multi-week deployments when assigned to field operations.

How often are employees paid?

Crewzers operates on a bi-weekly payroll schedule. Employees may elect direct deposit or mailed paychecks, subject to company payroll procedures.


Are travel and lodging provided?

Crewzers generally coordinates and arranges required work-related travel and lodging for approved deployments and assignments.

Per-diem compensation may be provided for qualifying assignments in accordance with company policy and operational requirements.

Mechanic, Generator & HVAC Technician Positions

These positions support the inspection, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, deployment readiness, and field support of Crewzers equipment and mobile base camp infrastructure systems.

Positions may involve work both in shop environments and in remote field deployment environments supporting emergency incidents and operational assignments throughout the United States.

All Mechanic, Generator Technician, and HVAC Technician positions are classified as Safety-Sensitive Positions.

Position Types

HVAC Technicians

HVAC Technicians support the inspection, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and deployment readiness of:

  • Trane Heat Pump Systems
  • Mini Split HVAC Systems
  • RV-Style Rooftop A/C Units
  • Portable Tent HVAC and ECU Systems 

Applicants with HVAC certifications, refrigeration experience and license, electrical troubleshooting experience, or prior experience with mobile or temporary HVAC systems are preferred.

Generator Technicians

Generator Technicians support the inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, testing, and field support of:

  • Diesel Generators
  • Generator Control Systems
  • Associated Diesel Engines

  • Light Towers & Support Equipment

Duties may include:

  • Preventative maintenance and oil changes
  • Diagnostics and troubleshooting

Applicants with experience servicing diesel generators, power systems, electrical systems, or field service equipment are preferred.

Diesel / Truck Mechanics

Diesel Mechanics support the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of:

Work may occur both in shop environments and in remote field operations.

Applicants with medium/heavy duty truck repair experience, trailer repair experience, diesel engine diagnostics, welding/fabrication experience, or fleet maintenance experience are preferred.

  • Must possess a High School Diploma, GED, Trade School Certification, or equivalent related work experience.
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
  • Certain positions may require or prefer a Class A or Class B CDL based on operational assignment.
